The most common reasons for kidney stone formation are inadequate or less in take-off water and liquid, carbonated drinks or excess intake of foods having oxalate. Apart from these, in a few patients, kidney stones are also caused due to genetic disorders like cystinuria, gaud disease, and renal tubular acidosis.
There are different types of kidney stones - calcium stones, uric acid stones and infection stones. The most common type is calcium stones seen in around 70-75% of the patients. Under this type, there are calcium oxalate and calcium phosphate stone. Because of the dehydration, concentrated urine leads to the crystals formed in the urine and urinary system that leads to the stone formation, which again will lead to the different types of symptoms.
The common symptoms for kidney stones diseases are a pain in the loin which is related to the back, frequent urination in the daytime and night-time, burning during urination and sometimes traces of blood in the urine.
