Gleneagles BGS Hospital in Bengaluru ended its ‘Pink Wave’ campaign with the ‘Pink Up the Pace 2023’ run on October 29, 2023. The event attracted over 2,000 participants.
The ‘Pink Wave’ campaign, started eight years ago, organizes events during Breast Cancer Awareness Month or ‘Pink October.’ It also created the support group ‘Sakhi’ for breast cancer survivors. Breast cancer affects one in eight women, so early detection is vital for survival.
