Director of Infectious Diseases at the Gleneagles Hospitals, handling patient care issues as also HIC at Chennai and Bengaluru. Long history of involvement with academics and training from postgraduate days at Christian Medical College, Vellore, rising to the position of Associate Professor in the Division of Medicine and Infectious Diseases. Was faculty in the HIV distance learning course, charged with creating the material for Antiretroviral therapy, and subsequently consultant with the WHO- SEARO office for creating training materials as part of the "3-by-5" initiative. Since completing residency in Medicine and then Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Wayne State University, been involved in transplant related work, working with pioneering liver and cardiothoracic transplant teams. Currently the Chair of Transplant ID subcommittee for the Clinical Infectious Diseases Society of India, Scientific Chair CIDSCON 2020, and co-organizer of the Transplant Infectious Diseases Conference in India for 5 years now.
