Dr Ruchira Misra has been in practice for more than 15 years and perform more than 250 Bone marrow transplants. After finishing her training in Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, and Bone marrow transplants in Australia (2007-2011), She has performed for different conditions with a success rate comparable with that of other centers across the country and internationally.
She has authored over 30 articles in peer-reviewed journals and contributed chapters to many books.
Dr Ruchira Misra's leadership extends beyond her practice. She currently serves as the Treasurer of the Pediatric Hematology Oncology chapter of the Indian Association of Pediatrics, a testament to her commitment to the field. Additionally, she is the Chairperson of the Psychosocial and Social Task Force of the Indian Childhood Cancer Initiative, where she plays a pivotal role in shaping the initiative's direction.
