About

Dr Jitendra Jagtap is a Consultant with over 14 years of professional experience and is currently associated with Gleneagles Hospital, Mumbai as Consultant. Along with his MBBS, MS, and DNB degrees, he also has a fellowship in Endourology, Laparoscopy & Robotics from Endourological Society, USA, to his credit. Dr Jagtap has had a remarkable academic record. His research work has been commendable due to which most of his work has been published in various esteemed national and international medical journals. He has over 20 publications in international peer-reviewed journals and has co-authored a few book chapters as well. He was a part of numerous clinical research protocols during his training at a large volume tertiary referral center. He has been actively involved in mentoring and sharing his knowledge base with surgeons at both JPAC (Jayramdas Patel Academic Centre), Nadiad, and CeMAST (Centre of Excellence for Minimal Access Surgery Training), Mumbai. He has imparted training in Holmium and Thulium lasers to urologists in Iran. In his quest for knowledge, Dr Jagtap attends numerous national and international conferences as well as CMEs. He is also an esteemed member of various medical organizations and societies such as the American Urological Association, Mumbai Urological Society, Urological Society of India among others and is frequently invited to deliver guest lectures at their meetings.
