Dr Anil Parakh is Head of Department at Gleneagles hospital, Mumbai. He has 30+ years of specialization in the field of Anaesthesiology.

After completing his MD in 1987 Dr Anil Parakh joined Bombay Hospital and Institute Of Medical Sciences, Mumbai, which was largest private hospital in India with 786 beds. He received vast experience of giving anesthesia to Neurosurgical, Cardiac , Orthopedic & Spine cases for almost 23 years.

During this time he visited Harbor View Hospital, Seattle(USA) & Great Ormond  Street hospital for Sick Children, London as Clinical Observer for Adult & Pediatric Neurosurgical Cases.

He is Past President of Indian Society of Neuroanesthesiology & Critical Care (ISNACC), founder member of Indian Society Of Critical Care Medicine(ICCM) & founder Secretary Of Association Of Neuroanesthesiology & Critical Care-Mumbai (ANACC-Mumbai) 

He is member of Indian Society Of Anesthesiologist (ISA),Research Society Of anesthesiology & Clinical Pharmacology(RSACP),Indian Society Of Study Of Pain(ISSP), Neurocritical Society Of India(NCSI) &  Indian Medical Association (IMA).
